Just 3 years ago, Laidler and his partners started 310 Motoring as a small automotive customizing operation. His vision has since exploded into not only the largest and most successful company of its kind, embraced by over 300 celebrity clients from the world of sports, entertainment and music, but the operation boasts 310 Racing, with the first minority owned racing team and car in the IRL, 310 Luxury Auto Rental, 310 Film and Music and even the 310 Calendar. Far beyond the neighborhood, or the car, "310" has become a life style.

A native of Los Angeles, Laidler's passion for the entertainment business, fine cars and success was developed early on. An entrepreneur at heart, before he was 22, he launched one of L.A.'s first cellular distributorships and developed a Rolodex full of business contacts. A brief stint with the Sultan of Brunei heightened his appreciation for the finer things in life, and he went on to develop 310 Motoring. Working out of his garage with one celebrity client and a Lincoln Navigator, fully customized to perfection, he and his team had only one strategy in mind. "My goal has always been to do the best job we can for our clients, and successive business would follow," cites Laidler. The theory worked, as the entire World Champion Los Angeles Lakers are now "310" clientele!

"Life in 310" is an exciting, whirlwind tour of customized vehicles accompanied by the customized lifestyles of the stars who drive them. Gary Payton takes the viewer inside not only his 12-car garage, but his yacht, his home and even his domino game! Tyrese opens the doors to the Bentley and let's us in, while Dre from Outkast explains why the Mercedes SUV is his "whip" of choice. George Mack, the second African American driver to compete on the IRL circuit, takes a seat behind the 310 Racing car, and the 310 models strike more than a pose during the 310 calendar shoot.
