DOPE GAME’S
BA
GOES FOR DOLO
WITH NEW CD,
BA SPORTS

Rah Records is simply doin’ the damn thang! On the heels of Dope Game and Dope Game 2 the label is droppin’ artist BA, their next effort toward positioning their status in the Bay area and beyond!

BA has been putting in work and Stackin Chips way back since he was a shorty. He inked his first major label deal (Virgin Records) at 16 years olds, along with Agerman and Keak Da Sneak as part of the infamous 3XKrazy. Throughout the nineties he was Immortalized and Real Talking. Now BA deftly holds it down with his solo CD BA Sports, on Rah Records, which simply defined, is a collision of bloodthirsty rhymes and hyphie beats that result in a cacophony of pure ghetto poetry.

The lead single, Put Your Ring Back On, has Keak Da Sneak, Yuckmouth and Allen Anthony running through the spot to lay down a scorching summer single with a switch-hittin’, tricky bass line. And Tone Kapone commandeers the boards to set the foundation for BA and his Oak-Town homies E 40 and Will Henn to handle a little town business on Guns in the Closet.

And how could you properly lay a blueprint to the hustle, without getting Frank Sticks, the son of the archetypical pimp himself, Fillmore Slim, to spit a couple of his slick 16s back and forth with BA on the blazing It' Pimpin. Got mics? Five Mics Status is an existential foray deep into hip hop’s underbelly that has Keak at his lyrical prime and BA venomously spittin’ heartfelt tales of the struggle over a piano stabbin’ track laid by Bay Area boards man Renaldo.

From his role in 3XKrazy and their debut over a decade ago (Sick-O 1995) to the critically acclaimed success of his group’s Dope Game album earlier this year, BA has always been a ranking vet in the game. With BA Sports he’s earned the stripes of a commanding officer, as he proves he is not new to this, but true to this. Peep him on the web at www.RahRecords.com .
