PROFESSOR OGLEVEE IS A WINNER!

“The Parkers” Dorien Wilson Takes Home the NAACP Image Award For Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series

As “The Parkers” Ready for Season Finale,
Will Professor Oglevee And Nikki Wed????

Professor Oglevee is a winner! Actor Dorien Wilson, who is known and loved by millions as the handsome bachelor Professor Oglevee on UPN’s “The Parkers”, was awarded the NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series at the recent 35th NAACP Image Awards celebration in Los Angeles, CA. The award is Wilson’s first with over 10 consecutive years and three series on network television under his belt.

“The role of Professor Oglevee has been a lot of fun for me! It’s a real blast working with Mo’Nique, who plays Nikki Parker on the show. She is like a sister to me and the rest of the cast have become like my second family. To be acknowledged with the NAACP Image Award for my work is truly a highlight in my career. I am indeed most honored.”

Wilson has appeared on the small screen for more than a decade in countless roles. He first became a household staple as Eddie Charles on HBO’s “Dream On” and then the Reverend Franklin Goode on UPN’s “Goode Behavior.” He can currently be seen in B2K’s new movie, “You Got Served”, and will also appear in the upcoming film “Gas,” written by Ralph Farquher, directed by Henry Chan and starring Flex Alexander.

The season finale of “The Parkers” is May 10th and viewers will finally get to see Nikki Parker get married – but will it be to professor Oglevee? Tune in for what promises to be a special show for long time viewers and fans! For more information, viewers can log on at www.upn.com
