Gets Funky on the new cover of:
"Fish'N'Grits
Magazine"
As hip hop continues
its erotic dance with adult entertainment, Fish 'N' Grits
Magazine is setting the pace for the beat with its scintillating
new presence in the marketplace. Capitalizing on this ever
burgeoning niche market, publishers Joe "Fatal"
and Camille Burgos are stepping up the game with the release
of the second issue of their hybrid magazine. Slated to
impact newsstands nationwide on Wednesday, May 13, 2004,
REDMAN, star of Fox-TV's new sitcom, "Meth and Red"
will grace the magazine's notorious cover with adult icon,
Sinnamon Love. Also featured in this issue are Twista, Avant,
Youngbloodz and E40. Can hip hop get any hotter ?
The ground breaking
pictorial is just the tip of the iceberg for Fish 'N' Grits,
the magazine that makes no qualms about pairing hip hop's
hottest with the top stars from the world of adult entertainment.
While Method Man rocked the debut cover with adult seductress
Solveig, Lil' Jon, The Clipse, Too Short and Kanye West
are just a sampling of past celebs interviewed within the
magazine's pages.
"Our magazine
is upscale and urban," offers Camille, co-publisher
of Fish 'N' Grits. "Magazines for men generate top
sales in today's marketplace. But no one is able to offer
what we offer. Either they don't showcase women of color
on a regular basis, or they tease you with partial nudity.
Fish 'N' Grits is able to bring it to you full and up front
and no holds barred. We combine the no- compromise attitude
of both cultures and explode with it. Music and sex have
always been kissing cousins and Fish 'N' Grits expounds
upon that truth!"
“Our objective
is to present a visual forum where women of color are held
to a standard of beauty like no other. Merging music with
adult entertainment was just an inevitable phase. From a
music executive perspective we have utilized sex throughout
the ages to sell everything from cars to food to music to
clothes. Fish’N’Grits represents everything
to Urban America – a cost effective, satisfying, delectable,
staple of Urban culture – a simple down home delicacy”,
adds Fatal.
As editors/
publishers of Fish 'N' Grits, Camille Burgos and Joe "Fatal"
are true products of the hip hop generation. Burgos has
risen through the ranks to become one of the most influential
marketing authorities in the music business today while
Joe “Fatal” has established himself as a rare
breed, successfully treading the waters as a record producer,
rapper/entertainer and businessman. Together the two have
a resource of industry and celebrity contacts that reads
like a who's who in music.
Like a satisfying
meal, Fish 'N' Grits is more than a mouth full. Progressing
the inevitable union of hip hop and adult entertainment,
with Fish 'N' Grits Magazine you have a full plate ready
for you. Appetizers are being served at
