HOMES OF COLOR MAGAZINE
CAPTURES J. ANTHONY BROWN
AS THE ARTIST

COMEDIAN REVEALS YET ANOTHER DIMENSION
THROUGH CANVAS

Comedian J. Anthony Brown, long time co-host on The Tom Joyner Morning Show and the former host of BET Comic View, caused quite a stir when he displayed yet another side of his creative talents last year in the November/December issue of the Homes of Color Magazine. He simply surprised and delighted readers with his work as an aspiring visual artist, vividly captured in the magazine's colorful display of his home.

"I've always had knack for doodling," explains Brown. "After being egged on by friends and family, I decided to have some of my designs reproduced and framed." His so called "doodle art" is the chalk, marker and colored pencil designs often executed while live on the air with Tom Joyner. Brown's generous use of explosive color and strong use of line in his compositions are as captivating as the comedian's boisterous stage personality!

The public and arts community are now taking his work seriously, and Brown is making plans to mount an exhibition of his work this year. To preview and/or purchase Brown's work, go to www.JAnthonyBrown.com and read the Homes of Color feature at www.HomesofColor.net .
