Los Angeles, CA - Feb. 2008 - Playboy TV, the premium television channel for adults, takes viewers on an around-the-world tour of beauty with "Around the World in 80 Babes," installments of which will be premiering throughout February, March and April. The series features beautiful women and international celebrities the world over including a Playmate from Brazil and a star from Holland's own "Big Brother" series.
Each country has its party girls, and Playboy is traveling the world to celebrate with them. Who are the girls that the gossip columns and the paparazzi follow? This glorious, globetrotting odyssey showcases international beauty at its finest, as local TV stars, debutantes and 'celebutantes' from around the world reveal the sexier sides of their hometowns as we travel to London, Amsterdam, Belgrade, Mexico City, Toronto and Rio de Janeiro.
Each installment of the series focuses on a different girl and a different city, each one unique in beauty and charm, each one showcased in the spectacular and sensual fashion that Playboy is renowned for.
- Maya in Mexico City (Mexico): This Latin beauty is not only a model but a hip hop choreographer. She's choreographed routines for Mexico City's famed dance company, "Ragazzi." And if her hot moves weren't enough, she can seduce you in six languages.
- Linda in Stockholm (Sweden): She loves cars and even used to race competitively in a Toyota Celica - 220 hp. This former ski instructor and cliff-climbing instructor is also a model for Swedish magazines. She's been seen in Moore, Slitz and Playboy. Be careful around her though - she has a pet python.
- Anastajia in Belgrade (Serbia): This past March, Playboy Serbia featured her on the cover. She's been modeling for years and is currently working on her first album with the Serbian pop group, aptly named "Models." "Models" have been dubbed the Serbian equivalent of the "Spice Girls."
- Dani in London (England): This hot party girl has managed to make her way to the silver screen with her appearance in Mel C's (Sporty Spice) music video, "I Want Candy." She came in second in the Miss British Isles competition and is consistently featured in the likes of Loaded and FHM as well as being a regular in Daily Sport.
- Brandy in Toronto (Canada): This self-professed 'Whirlwind of Energy' works as a burlesque dancer, model and erotic salesgirl at her favorite sex toyshop - Miss'Behavin. She's also a featured host on Canada's edgy romp, 'Ed the Sock.'
