RADIO PERSONALITY BRAD SANDERS

PRESENTS "BE GOOD TO WOMEN DAY"
ON MARCH 20

National Prayer Vigil is a Call to Action
on Behalf of Women

Los Angeles, CA - As a radio personality and host of the nationally syndicated radio series, "On the Phone with Ti-Rone,"  Brad Sanders, impacted the lives of millions of listeners daily, offering his urban take on common sense advice.  On March 15 and 20 however, Sanders will take his annual stance to empower and impact lives reaching far beyond his audience in a very compelling and powerful way.  On these dates he will continue a dedication to women that he hopes will eventually be realized around the world.  Sanders will be encouraging nationwide prayer, meditation and dialogue to counteract the denigration of women.

Thursday, March 20, 2008 is the fifth annual "Be Good To Women Day" national prayer vigil.  Conceived by Sanders in an effort to encourage men in particular to honor, nurture and love the women in their lives, "Be Good To Women Day" has become a treasured occasion with growing response during the month of March, Women's History Month.  In addition to the vigil, "A Day of Dialogue" is planned for Saturday, March 15, with a round table discussion about positive relationships; a health fair, offering  free mamogram screenings, HIV testing and a financial health seminar.

Both events will take place at Bryant Temple AME Church located at 2525 W. Vernon Avenue in Los Angeles.   The health fair and round table discussion will take place between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 15.  The national prayer vigil begins at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008.

Currently, Sanders is co-executive producer of the radio soap opera, "It's Your World," which can be heard on-line at www.ItsYourWorldSoap.com .  His inspiration for "Be Good to Women Day" came about after being consistently bombarded with the stark reality of the level of disrespect and mistreatment of  women, from sexual and spousal abuse to emotional and psychological harassment to higher risk related health concerns.  After 20 years of personally responding to thousands of letters, phone calls and emails from women mistreated and abused, Sanders was compelled to stronger action.

"When we degrade or devalue women we debase ourselves," laments Sanders.  "We must always treat women as the blessed inspired force in our universe that they were created to be.  We are encouraging people all over America to dedicate a part of the day to pray for women and to focus on the women in their lives in a loving and nurturing way."

Sanders is joined and supported by Rev. Joan Taylor Sanders, co-host Deya Smith Starks Rev. Dr. Clyde W. Oden Jr., Rev.
