KICK-OFF WITH CLEAN-UP OF LOWERY BLVD
Friends and volunteers celebrate Dr. Lowery's Birthday with launch 
of two-year beautification project

The Georgia Coalition for the Peoples Agenda will hold a press conference to announce the launch of their Clean, Green & Honor Project a beautification project of the  Joseph E. Lowery Blvd. community. The press conference will be held FRIDAY AT 2 PM in the vacant lot directly across the street from Lindsay Street Baptist Church (on the corner of Lindsay Street and Joseph E. Lowery Blvd.). The press conference will give media and the public an opportunity to see the current state of the community prior to the clean-up efforts.

All day on Saturday a group of friends, partners and volunteers of the Peoples' Agenda will "clean, green, and honor" Joseph E. Lowery Blvd.  and celebrate the 89th birthday of Dr. Joseph E. Lowery. 

WHO:          Attendees include: The Peoples' Agenda, elected officials, neighborhood associations, college  presidents, non-profit organizations, churches and "green" businesses.
