LIFE COACH
/ AUTHOR SHARON ROSE WASHINGTON REVEALS
"HOW TO WALK THE EARTH LIKE A GODDESS"
Self Help Book Strives to Empower Women
In a society embraced by materialism, the media’s shallow
and restrictive standards of beauty and the constant bombardment
of misogynistic images, the average women is often left
feeling “less than.” In fact, more and more
modern day women are finding themselves lost and in search
of answers to questions like “Where has love, education
and respect for ourselves gone?” “How can I
find true fulfillment?” and “Is it possible
to have it all?”
Author,
life coach and image consultant Sharon Rose Washington answers
these questions and more in her newly published book, “How
To Walk The Earth As A Goddess.” This guide’s
use of the term “Goddess” refers to the “finest”
in all women and offers uplifting empowerment tools to re-energerize
even the most self-defeated.
A self-help
adventure, “How To Walk The Earth As A Goddess”
assists one to achieve paradise on earth. Initially walking
the reader through a preliminary quiz to help identify weak
spots and set goals, the book provides a game plan for creating
a “Goddess” lifestyle, through rituals, affirmations
and the selection of ancient and contemporary Goddess role
models. Modern day Goddesses honored are Oprah Winfrey,
Madonna, Janet Jackson, Gloria Steinem, Jennifer Lopez,
Hillary Clinton and Halle Berry among others. Tools are
offered that aid in reclaiming feminine power, increasing
abundance, creating joy and living a more balanced and healthy
live.
Sharon
Rose Washington states, “ When Jack Nicholson said
in the movie, As Good As It Gets, ‘You make me want
to me a better man,’ he touched upon something crucial.
When women empower themselves, they empower the men around
them and the entire society benefits. Through Goddesses,
Gods are born. I hold women largely responsible for the
state of men’s desire to be better individuals.”
As
a mother, healer and teacher, Washington’s professional
life coaching has impacted the lives of many. Her initial
offering, “Woman Heal Thyself” is a video release
that serves as a catalyst for helping women accept responsibility
for their actions and choices in life. “How To Walk
The Earth As A Goddess” is a continuation of that
journey.
Not
to be mistaken as a male bashing book, “How To Walk
The Earth As A Goddess” is dedicated to the author’s
recently deceased close friend, humanist and animal rights
activist, David Bale, husband of activist, Gloria Steinem.
Among Washington’s associations have been stellar
individuals such as Warren Beatty and Stevie Wonder. Dr.
Michael Bernard Beckwith, Founder and Director of the Agape
International Spiritual Center contributes the foreword.
Washington
cites, “I challenge women to stretch beyond their
perceived limitations. I do not condemn them. Once the “self”
is healthy then the dual objective of men and woman is to
bring society back to a place of honor and balance.”
