STILL ROCKS FOR BASSIST/ ENGINEER MIKE BRADFORD AFTER THE KID After a 1 1/2 year stint on the road
touring with Kid Rock as his engineer/bass player, Mike Bradford is settling back into home life in Los Angeles, while
still impacting the music scene at large. While on the road, his production work at the Kid’s “rolling studio”
located on the tour bus, resulted in Kid Rock’s double platinum “The
History of Rock” CD, Uncle Kracker’s “Double Wide” project and tracks
for Run DM, Methods of Mayhem and soundtracks that include Any Given
Sunday and The Crow: Salvation. Home life has seen Bradford no less busy however. He will contribute original music to the new weekly UPN drama, “Freedom,” slated to begin airing October 27 and has produced and/ or written tracks for Hollywood Records’ artists, Youngstown, new solo artist, Tre, (formerly of Pharcyde), and Capitol Records’ Meredith Brooks. Check out Bradford in his cameo appearance in Uncle Kraker’s new video, “Follow Me,” a tune he co-wrote with Kracker, and co-produced with Kid Rock. The single and video are slated for an October 30 release. “The Kid Rock experience has been invaluable. As a Black musician, I’m looking forward to merging my rock music adventures and experience with some hip hop, r&b and even pop flavoring. The musical diversity I can bring to an artist now, make for some really tasty musical gumbo,” cites Bradford. |
