NEISHA GLITTERS!

With movie credits that include Speed, Whatever It Takes, Rosewood and Trippin, dancer/ choreographer/ actress Neisha Folkes now Glitters! The work from this busy dance dynamo shines in Mariah Carey’s upcoming theatrical release from Twentieth Century Fox and Sony Pictures, Glitter, slated to open domestically on September 21. In the movie, Folkes choreographs the film’s star as well as an additional six musical numbers. Folkes also makes a brief cameo in the film.

The native New Yorker and Juilliard grad has swept Los Angeles in recent years with a resume that encompasses feature films, Broadway plays, television commercials, artist tours and episodic TV including ”The Jamie Foxx Show,” “Moesha” and “The Hughleys.” With skills that embrace jazz, salsa, swing, ballet, tango and even hip hop, Folkes is constantly in demand.

And what does Folkes have to say about Ms. Carey? “I sometimes read mixed reviews on Mariah before meeting with her. However, after working with her one on one on a personal level, I found her to be a delight, funny and hard working. She opened up to me and I hope we will always be friends,” expresses Folkes.

Neisha Folkes is currently busy at work on Kaante, a studio film to be released overseas. She is represented by Kasarian Spenser and Associates.
