                Ron L. Jones, the Chairman and CEO of SongBoy.Com™ along with his founding partner and CMO, Mark A. Bush, are the subjects of an interview to air live on CNNfn, Thursday, May 25, 2000 at 9:50 a.m. (PST) / 12:50 p.m. (EST).  SongBoy.Com™ in an African American owned, Silicon Valley digital media start-up company, providing hardware, software and content to consumers and businesses.

SongBoy ™, the first innovation from the firm, is set to revolutionize the digital music industry by delivering a new plug-in module that is hosted by the Nintendo Game Boy ™ and Neo Geo Pocket Player™ entertainment systems.  By plugging the feature into the model, the game piece in converted into a digital player/ recorder, with the ability to offer audio and visual components!  MP3 and WMA downloads can be played through the unit.  Music can also be played via an optional memory ROM chip.  Songboy.Com™ has created partnerships and alliances with Microsoft, Texas Instruments, EMusic.com and rap artist Chuck D’s Rapstation.com.

Jones, the inventor behind SongBoy.Com was the founder and CEO of Colossal Graphics, Inc., a $4 million company based in Palo Alto, CA.  Jones was named “Innovator of the Decade” by Micro-Publishing News in 1999.  He is the inventor of numerous products ranging from the electronic feeders for pets and animals to proprietary Colossal PostScript printing raster technologies and software for unique Colossal Graphics bulk ink delivery systems for large format printers.

Bush is also the President and CEO of Covenant Venture Enterprises.  He has been consulting, referring investors to Internet start-ups, and creating alliances for small emerging growth companies for several years.  His participation with companies like ZapMedia.com, (recently awarded a $270 million investment from media giant, Gannett), has been instrumental in their success.
